The face of Fureal

Fureal is recognised not only for its cruelty free style but for its beautiful illustration which is found on the magazine cover, business card and other Fureal Merchandise. Here Fureal looks at the Illustrator behind the beautiful imagery and takes a look at more of the work behind the artist.

The illustrated Fureal Lady is down to the wonderfully talented Jason Lear.  Jason Lear is an Illustrator/Artist working with traditional and mixed media. His inspiration comes from fashion, lifestyle and everyday people. His fascination with the human form particularly the female form is conveyed in his work with small details of beauty which is drawn from the everyday woman.

I was drawn to Jason’s style due to his mixed media, his technique and the simplicity of his illustrations. They were powerful and meaningful, drawing on aspects of the ‘normal, everyday’ woman and not just focusing on one type of woman we associate with the fashion industry. This has obvious links to what Fureal was and is all about, stepping away from the ideal and looking at the reality.
